Well, that's funny.. Some other people would complain that their guys look like girls.

Nowadays, most anime/manga boys are becoming the least masculine things around. You put a long wig on a pretty boy, you wouldn't think that he's a boy at all. What I mean is.. the boys are already as pretty as the girls.

If you say that your girls resemble pretty guys, then it's like saying that your girls are already pretty.

Seriously, you have nothing to worry about. Just keep drawing. Try not to be so distressed. Have fun!

My best advice would be to draw from life, or to get some very specific drawings of girls from anime and draw from them.

I had that problem for a while, all my girls looked like guys cause I was too used to drawing guys. xD But it would have made all the difference if I had just sat myself down in front of an actual picture of an anime girl instead of just drawing something out of my head.

Reference is the way to go, for everything.

Well, you could always try doing small details to make them look different. What I do to differentiate my girls and boys is the eyes and lips. For my girls, the eyes are bigger and they have more defined eyelashes. For the lips, the curve of the top lip is defined, and when in colour, they're actually coloured (pink for natural, different colours for lipsticks, etc). With the boys, the eyes are smaller (but if they're supposed to be pretty, they get lashes). The lips are thinner and they're not as defined, and when coloured they're only tinted, never IN YOUR FACE, since then it'd look like lipstick.
